Then it should be clear to everyone that this falls squarely on UF. Even IF UF offered playing on 11/19, that is one option of many (playing on Sunday or Monday, moving venue, playing at LSU, or, I don't know, making the decision more than two days before the hurricane hits), and it probably has the most financial and fan-inconvenience considerations.

I'm feeling a little conspiracy theory here. It really feels like UF pushed the conference back, perhaps had somebody leak false information on their 11/19 "offer," and is now sitting back to see if the media bites and blames us even though we have a hell of a track record for properly dealing with hurricane inconveniences.

Hopefully, this is a scenario where, with a little time, the facts come out and the cream floats while the shite sinks.

Foley got out there first and set the narrative to the media. Nothing said after that will be excepted as the truth.

Agree. Don't know what the guy in other thread was talking about Alleva saying Monday was not discussed. Watched the press conference where he stated that he offered to fly them in on our plane, provide our buses, and hotels, fly our team to Gainesville on Sunday morning and out Sunday night, and UF wasn't hearing any of that. They did it want to play.

Have to correct my earlier post. Alleva said that they would have played Monday but was not really discussed.

When dumbasses like you learn the difference between except and accept, then maybe you will be taken seriously.

The offer of us giving up a game 11/19 isn't workable

Hurricane hits Florida and we lose a home game?

As mentioned already several times , it's seems simple - Florida plays Georgia 10-22 instead of 10-29, lsu plays Florida 10-29 - Georgia gets wknd off 10-29. . Florida and lsu had their by wk this wknd - they don't need another 1 this month .

And as mentioned several times, UGA shouldn't have to accommodate us and their dumbass division rival because their dumbass division rival refused more reasonable solutions.

The truth that no one wants to say is there using the hurricane as a smoke screen . Flordia , and there athletic staff can honestly do no wrong because they are about to have a natural disaster on there hands. It's easy to play the concerned community member that says " it's not all about football ". No one in the media would dare call them out on it in fear of backlash from residents of Flordia , etc. Once They realized this , probably around Monday or Tuesday, the plan was set in motion to get past the tigers this year . It's about the most pussified thing i have ever seen. Frick them , no one wants to play us anymore . We are a dangerous team right now , the defense is getting better every game , and we are figuring it out on offense .
