Good for the team to respond the way they did. But, I still don't get why OSU made that move...made no sense to me. OSU played tight and lost it.

quote:

“I’m kind of happy they didn’t start Rasmussen,” Mainieri said. “That kid has a really great arm. He’s more like what we’re used to facing in the SEC every game.”

Well if you take the coach at his word he said he thought Fehemel would be better early because of his success against in the first game and that Rasmussen would be stronger off the bench later.

I think he was trying to save Rasmussen for championship series

OSU knew they weren't blowing us out again so he tried to sike LSU out with Feheml because he shut us down monday. I don't think he took into account that we just came out flat and played like dog shite.

like someone said. it was bush league. he tried to sike us out and then when Rasmussen came in shut us down. totally blew up in his face.

we pitcher two underclassmen that had gems of a game

Glenn Cechenni does the same thing at Barbe all the time. Changes the lineup after giving the first one. Very bush league

Probably played and was managed tight because they're not use to losing. This team only lost a total of 6 games this year and LSU gave them a third of their losses.
