Under the Radar

What is the conventional wisdom on the following players (guys who we had big expectations for as recruits 2 or 3 years ago)? I know a number are RS Freshman but does anyone know how they are progressing? Will any contribute in 2010 and if so, how much is expected? Just looking for some inside info and trying to shift away from the Lee v. Jefferson, Bash Miles, Bash Crowton, etc. threads. Anyway, these are guys I haven't heard a ton about but thought were promising. Any insight would be appreciated:

Big guy that can block and run fairly well. He'll do well at TE in our system

Indeed.
Especially with Collins coming in and hopefully Greg Robinson. We could have the makings for a stellar OL in 2011-2013.

These guys are good. In the Spring game Minter flat out dominated. At 240, I'd feel confident if he and Shepp were on the field at the same time, and he is in for Shepp, when he goes out. Tahj is a future starter on the outside, just needs weight. He is fast and strong. He hit Ford on the goal line stand, grabbed him around the hips and swung him down, backwards! Barrow is more physically ready, and should see some time this year, but he's behind on recognition, and has had some concussion issues.

Made some plays in the Spring game. He really needs to get his conditioning down, as well as his weight, and improve his pad level.

Mingo = Going to be a beast! 3rd down specialist, and 4th quarter Nightmare for opposing QB's.

Ratphuch Hobley is the whoopie cushion of tigerdroppings. Not always appropriate, but consistently gets a few chuckles.
I'm sorry though you are right. Anyone who has a sweet picture of Steve Urkel must know all.

Have also heard good things on Brockers, don't know how much of an impact he will have this year...but think he will definitely be on the field in some capacity.

Thanks for the info!
How big is Tahj Jones these days? He's listed at 205 on the pre-Spring roster (which probably means he was under 200). Probably needs to get to 215 or 220 to be impactful, particularly against bruiser RBs in the SEC like Ingram and Richardson.
I heard Davenport was having conditioning/motivation issues. Hope he turns it around. Would be ashame to see Al Woods Part II.

Speaking of size issues, Mingo is another. I know he's fast but if he's not at least 230-235 he will be a liability on the field other than 3rd and forever.
