I have a feeling it's onna be about 50/50 in the Rose Bowl. UCLA hasn't sold out a game in a long time and there are a ton of Tigers traveling for this one. Sit wherever you want and you'll most likely have some friendlies close by.

I was awarded 4 through LSU, but I still don't have my assigned seat numbers though.

For the record, Louisiana is more locked down than California.

I don't think it'll be packed for the game. College football fans here do not have the same passion for the game as fans do in the south. I'd say pick the best seat you can find. I'm sure there'll be a decent amount of LSU fans near by.

That's what has me hesitating a bit. If John Bel shut LA down, I fear CA isn't far behind.

Louisiana is not "shut down." A mask mandate is not shutting down in any sense of the term, imo.

OK, Louisiana has a mask mandate while California doesn't. Is that better for you?

The point is everyone on this board has been crying about California moving the game or canceling it, when in actuality Edwards' sloth lookin arse has more mandates in place than so called communist California.

California still has a state mask mandate if you're unvaccinated.

And someone posted in another thread that the Newsome recall vote is Sept. 15th. If that is the case there is no way he is going to flirt with a shutdown weeks before the vote.

Sit on the UCLA side. You will have the sun DIRECTLY in your eyes for most or all of the first half on the LSU side. Also probably roasting in the sun, depending on the temp.

Ball game starts a 5pm, not at noon.

The hottest part of the day in general is mid-afternoon. Every decade or so, a cloud floats through the Los Angeles area, so even if it's 20 degrees outside, you'll be blinded by the sun until at least mid 2nd quarter on the LSU side.

I have seen on social media some bars in Hollywood requiring proof of vaccination or negative test within 24 hours for entry, fwiw.
