Any ideas as to where to stay that will be decent access to LAX and the Rose Bowl? Not familiar with Los Angeles at all.

I would suggest staying in LA rather than Pasadena. We are doing a long weekend with the game only being part of the vacation.

Staying at Beverly Hilton.

I booked a few months ago at Marriott Courtyard in Pasadena. Extremely close to the stadium. Will probably bring a 24 pack for the walk over.

All depends on your plans. LA is huge (obviously) and traffic sucks. Plan for what you're going to do the majority of your trip not just one day as far as proximity and where you want to stay.

I just don’t see California allowing Louisiana people to come into town without some kind of extended quarantine. But good luck

I live in Paso Robles. We had the Mid State fair here the last couple weeks. It was packed with concerts and people traveling from all over. The recall is the best thing to happen. Definitely changing the math with what the state is saying.

Between LAX and the Rose Bowl, "Stay North of I-10" would be a good base line if you've never been to LA.

Then decide if its the Beach or "the Movies" or Museums, Entertainment venues you are interested in spending your free time and you can likely have a decent way to approach it.

That’s good to hear. All this reinstitution of mask mandates and what-not with the current Covid surge just has me a bit pessimistic at the moment.

I lived in LA (West side) for 4 years. Santa Monica was one of my favorite areas to hang, workout or whatever.

We’re staying at the Hilton Los Angeles - Universal City. Decent price and it’s a half mile away from universal studios. Just off the map it seems like it’s about an hour at most to anywhere we want to go.

May want to look at Vegas. Some rumors starting to float it may be moved.
