If Les has proved one thing, it's if you don't bust your arse at practice and in your off time, you aren't playing in the game. Period. Doesn't matter if you're a 5* or not.

He went from our third receiver to dead last.

Dead last among who exactly? The entire position group or just the upperclassmen? Where exactly are you making this inference from if you, as you admitted, "don't have any info"?

Not sure if you guys noticed last year as well, but Johnson Didn't give much effort Blocking . I remember Fournette could've sprung some runs and Johnson would block for a second and let his defender go. This pissed Miles off.

I'm not trashing him.

Sorry if it came off that way. I was asking if it was an immaturity issue, which was reported.

I wish he would stay and compete, especially next season.

I saw that mentioned too. It's sad if true.

I remember in spring he was at the back of every line. Chark, Dillon and Jazz all passed him. Remember these are guys in his class, or older, who he had already beaten out last year. He also had beaten out Trey Quinn and Diarse.

This guy obviously has the talent, but between the bowl game and spring practice he got demoted. I'm basing my inferences on these facts only.

Wow. Is Jazz Ferguson still on the team? Surprised he hasn't transferred either

i figured he'd be the one to transfer, not johnson

i believe jazz stepped his game up and matured a lot....jazz has the more upside with this size....although i didnt figure either would transfer but im not surprised by it wish the kid the best

There was a thread on here about that. It definitely happened a few times that I remember.

I also remember a few times he looked lost running a route and kind of left Harris out to dry.

The kid has a ton of talent, but he didn’t seem to really gel. I wish him the best. He could really kill it in a spread offense that throws a ton of slants and go routes.

I do recall noticing this somewhat, but I wasn't upset about it. I just figured he wasn't much of a blocker.

This is how it kind of sounds according to Kleinpeter's report just two days ago.

he wasn't that good anyway. People get way too caught up in recruiting rankings

Recruiting rankings had nothing to do with it. Watch his tape from Warren Easton and tell me he isn't the real deal. Johnson will wind up being a hell of a slot receiver wherever he lands.

WR and DB are two places we can lose a few guys that are buried on the depth chart and not miss a step.

Kid was talented, but was 5th or worse on the depth chart in appears.

I love saying this because it isn't always the case, but we are stacked at wide receiver.
