I couldnt find the original article they had in todays Star Telegram where counting down to the draft they list the top five, top texas ties, and sleeper (Tyrann was the sleeper). I did find this article that is interesting but not as good as todays but was on the newspaper 2 days ago. This is crazy because the Star never talks long about anything dealing with LSU. #TexasTigers

Yeah, I've never seen anything lsu related in the star telegram. I just want this draft to happen, and we can move onto other things.

I feel sorry for the Honey Badger, but he had his chance. I am tired of hearing all the excuses. If he ever amounts to shite he is the one that is going to have to do it. Lsu gave him a chance to be great & he blew it.

The Honey Badger is being marketed. ESPN has him in a commercial. He is plastered all over their draft shows. The kid is making money. He will be given the chance of a lifetime next week, hopefully he does right by the team that gambles on him.
He has LSU and more importantly Les Miles to thank for alot of his new found success.
Miles allowing him to be a part of their pro day was huge for Tyrann. It was an opportunity for him and he capitalized on it with his play and attitude that day.He was brilliant.
After all the crap Mathieu has done to Miles, this guy stood by him all the way. If this isnt reason enough to send your kid to LSU to play football I dont know what it is. Les comes from a different gene, he is the most genuine head coach in big time college football and he genuinely cares about his kids.

wasn't tired of the guy when he was helping LSU do great things. You people that call yourselves fans should go and pull for another school, won't be missed at all.

"Miles and LSU to thank for his success. If you say so.

and that's going too far there. Mathieu didn't do shite to Miles, he let him down yeah, but ultimately Mathieu let himself and family down and he knows that. Get the frick out of here with all that shite. You clowns make it sound like LSU and all these major schools do great shite for these kids when in fact it's the schools and bigtime programs that use the hell out of these kids, make huge profits off them to afford great lifestyles they would never have. These kids owe jack shite to these universities.

Have it your way. If thats your attitude. We can argue the exploitation vs the free scholarship on a different thread.
All Im saying is most HC's wouldve distanced themselves from this guy. Miles didnt and its helped Tyrann tremendously.

I laugh at the first comment because it's retarded and should be laughed at. All these people just crap on former LSU players after they are gone for no other reason then to just be assholes. Mathieu played his arse off for LSU the 2 seasons he was there and does not deserve that. All this shite about what LSU did for him and Miles did for him is just nonsense. Miles is a good father figure, role model to these kids, but these schools make great money off these athletes and just offer a scholar in which a lot never receive or stay to achieve. It's a two way street between athlete and school with the school getting more of the benefit.

I support LSU football, but don't dump on former athletes that have contributed to the program. Don't care what misfortunes happened to them, that's life. I wish Mathieu the best in his NFL endeavors. And it's not Mathieu that keeps putting out these idiotic articles, blame the frickin reporters.

Here are the facts.Mathieu has been a detriment to Miles since his last game. Mathieu did play his arse off and was a great player. Him getting kicked off the team was detrimental to both parties. shite happens.

What Im talking about are his statements about flunking at least 10 drug test and his shot at Miles directly after the NC game against Bama. We can blame the reporters and keep making excuses but the reality is that he continues to make us look bad. It doesnt matter why or how. It is what it is.
U can say he doesnt owe Miles shite but u are mistaken. Most HC's wouldve kept their distance from this type of guy but when Mathieu really needed someone to help, LSU and Miles came thru for him.
They did not owe Mathieu anything either at that point. So u can sit there and not give credit to Miles if u choose, but I choose to.

Jesus..

Do some of you think Miles is a saint? He rides these kids backs to the tune of 4 million a year.

Miles stuck by TM when he wouldn't for lesser players because the guy made plays.
