One thing to be considered is maybethe coaching change is what UW needed. Look at Ole Miss. Same players that couldn't win a SEC game in 07 was 2nd in the West the next year. UW was playing for a coach that was fired from his last 2 jobs! Also, keep in mind that Lester said numerous times that they really had no way to prepare for these guys. Maybe it wasn't just coach-speak after all. Vandy normally has no offense. If THOSE dudes have 300 yrds on us in the 1st half.......

Oh...Maybe the coaches felt like they could win w/o showing alot to SEC foes. Maybe?

...and last year they didn't have their 2 BEST players...one of which has been compared to Tim Tebow.

We'll be fine.

We may not have played to talent and expectations, but I assure you we were never gonna beat Washington the way alot of people including myself thought we shouldve. They are WAY better than last year. Locker's return and the new staff has made an obvious difference.

I know that Ty recruited Quinn, but he never won with them. (Then again, neither did the big dude at ND now). I just hope that UW can win a bowl game this year. They really looked good.

Overall, Washington doesn't have the athletes to compete. Locker is a great athlete, but not that great of a passer (LSU basically gave him 300 yards) and that young RB Polk is solid. Besides that, they don't have much else.

Ty needs a job as an assistant coach in charge of recruiting. He gets talent, but doesn't know what to do with it

jake was going to UW if my arse was head coach.

ty had nothing to do with jake going to udub.

ty should never be mentioned in the same sentence as udub again please.

Quinn/Weis did take Notre Dame to the Sugar Bowl, too bad they had to play LSU.

Locker was a UW fan regardless of Ty. Like many kids, he would have come to UW regardless who head coach was... That's not a kudos to Ty. The only thing we can say good for Ty is that he kept the NCAA off our back after the Neuheisal scandal...but so did Gilby...
