No fear of the pass. Like we all keep saying we need to see shotgun and drake and Sullivan in there more. What's better when they sell out on the run and blitz to get to Danny before deep routes develop than swing passes to the backs, quick hitches to the TE's etc. guice and Williams will tear it up n the flats. All they will have to beat usually is corners and 1 safety. DW had Miles of football field on that score. Offense looked so much more comfortable in that 2 min offense. Stay in that formation and slow it down if u must but get some of those defenders out of the box!!!

Where are the slants and screens? Three back steps and fire? Saw some but not much. We did seem to spread out more for Brennan and he burned them on a blitz. He sees the field better and quicker and gets rid of the ball very fast.

Ya DC's have a bead on Canada. Blitz the qb and Rb's and 65% of the time Canada runs the ball and the back won't have much success. Plus they will get to the qb before he can hit chark deep. That's why DW had Miles of green in front of him. Myles did a good job of recognizing the blitz there. Teams are sending Safties lbers and corners a lot. Canada must attack the flats and the 3-7 yard routes

Yet in another post there's complaining about Darrell Williams being our 2nd leading receiver in that game and 3rd overall.

For the record, I agree with y'all. I see it happening, slowly. We appear to be evolving that way. Unfortunately blitz recognition and quick reads are not Etling's strongest suit. It did appear to be a strong point for Brennen, and he's still in the 'needs development' phase.
