Two Miles questions

At half, Miles was talking to the refs before heading to the lockers. Anyone know what that was about?
At the end of the game, Miles walked up to Mathieu, said something to him, and grabbed his arm. They then went to the front of the pile for the alma mater. Was coach just getting mathieu there, or did he want Mathieu next to him for some reason?

i saw that, and wondered if les was thinking that tm might be getting a little out of control, and was calming him down.

Probably just wanted him next to him.

I think it was just his way of showing love to TM7 after such a great game he played.

I was at the game and I think Les was very upset at the helmet-to-helmet call. That was a horrible call as there was no helmet-to-helmet contact. None. Les, and real footbal fans, hate it when the refs try to take away the players agressiveness.

Maybe blocking, stripping and recovering a punt for a touchdown to change the momentum of the game?

Typically upper classmen are in the front. Les pulled TM up there to show him he is a leader.

Miles wanted TM at the front of the group to get in on the AM pictures to give him exposure as our MVP of the game abd probably the season. Worked - picture all over the web. Miles is a master at promoting and motivating his kids.
