Can anyone actually explain how the process works of the networks picking the games?
I know CBS gets 1st pick, but do they get to pick 2:30 v. 7:30? Also, I'm pretty sure ESPN gets to pick the #1 game once a year - do they decide this before the year?

someone should write a FAQ for TV schedules and then put a link in all the thousands of threads like this

For sure. I know the question has been posed 1000 times, but I've never seen an actual breakdown of what happens.
