Bama won the NC last year in softball. I think they were the first SEC team to do it after years of PAC 10 domination. LSU used to be the power of the SEC in softball, but over the years we fell behind Bama, UF, UGA, and Tennessee. I think that Torina has us going in the right direction though.

Wile I hope we crush bama like we did a few years ago when they were ranked #1 and we swept them, losing to Mizzou does not make me feel good. I too do not like the slappers.

Same here. Fico did not look good in her 2 games against Mizzou, and that fat Bama pitcher is better than the girl from Mizzou. If we have power hitters in our line up, I don't understand why we just don't swing away. Yvette Girouard seemed to recruit a lot of slap hitters during her final years at LSU.

This is 100% incorrect. Traina's ERA is almost a 3 in conference play. Almost 1 full point higher overall.

If Mizzou had another decent pitcher to share the load with Thomas she'd be the most dominating pitcher in the country but her numbers suffer from overuse.
