Was when TQ threw the ball OOB with Blakeney wide open behind the three point line. Game was tied at this point too

Agree and he had an easy pass to him for a few seconds but tried to get fancy and threw it away.

Several IMO. Simmons missing front end of 1 and 1 when game was tied hurt also.

Extreme carelessness and sloppiness with the basketball. Terrible shooting as well. I wish Simmons would have told him to quit pressing and chill out.

Plus Blakeney was standing in the corner with his hands out waiting for the ball for 5 or 6 seconds before Tim no looked a pass over to him no where close.

I was yelling pass it to blake for 3 or 4 seconds because he was wide open. TQ even took a few dribbles away from him that weren't needed. Blakeney was so wide open that had he just looked at him and made a strong chest pass blakeney would've had enough time to reset himself if he didn't catch the ball cleanly. But Simmons missing the front end of that 1 and 1 was big as well, didn't they come right down after that and score an and 1? The team plays so wild sometimes it blows my mind.

Turning POINTS...if you can have multiple turning points...

1) Yes I agree with the OP...the Quarterman pass into the bench was one. Game was tied...we could have taken the lead.

2) Yes I agree with other posters about Simmons missing front end of 1-1. AGAIN...could have taken the lead.

3) While these were big, I think the overwhelming reason that we lost was due to suck-arse defense the last 8 minutes. When we tied it, SC scored on about 6-7 straight possessions. LSU couldn't get a stop and there were a couple of "and-1's" mixed in there. Very frustrating to watch when you just cannot stop the other team.

Oh, and the point guard play was generally shitty. Quarterman wasn't good, and Gray was less good than that tonight.

So many games when a team trails for most of the game, it seems like IF they can finally get over the hump and take the lead, then they usually win. We had a couple of chances to do that tonight, but never did take the lead.
