Have not seen the current numbers but for decades the weenie student body was comprised of 85% of out of staters, i.e. very few stay in the city as alums. In the past 20 + years they have never sold their allotment of tickets for games in T.S. Frick'em.

My LSU grad sister is married to one of those (I have a sister married to a Norte Dame person too. I must have been like Hitler in a previous life or something). She tells the story them being the only car on the road heading to New Orleans on Saturday and having it be bumper to bumper coming to Baton Rouge. The second or third guy had it right. "Penis Envy".

I have a few Greenie relatives (all from Chalmette, none went to Tulane...only 1 I think even attended college) and they are all like that. The little brother syndrome is real with them.
Be that as it may, I like their new stadium, I think it's perfect for them and I do hope that they do well.
