I'd rather them come out and run it. If you get a lil cushion, then work on the passing game. If you start off and fail, LSU may be playing catch up.

I would rather see balance early on and often.

If they fall behind and have to play catch up against TT, then we still have issues.. and they need to work on playing catch up any ways.

TT defense is bad all around.. LSU should take advantage..

Agreed. Probably would have been a good idea to work on it before the season started, but what the hell. Maybe we'll get around to practicing special teams play in 2018.

Again why are we working on something in the 12th game of the season....its like working on your putting stroke on the 72nd hole at Augusta.

yeah, if we can't pass on TTU, there's no hope for us having a decent passing game with Les Miles as coach.

I know we play to win the game, and running the ball will give us victory in this guy, but I'd like for us to try to be a balanced offense against TTU. Running the ball is like the low hanging fruit for victory. It's short-sighted for our long term objectives for next year.

Kind of like having Jennings start most of 2014, when we knew he wouldn't be the starter in 2015. Brandon would've had a lot more meaningful snaps going into this year, if this coach wasn't so short sided and planned ahead.

So because a play doesn't work well against Bama, we shouldn't use it at all against teams it's effective against?

no we shouldn't use it against the teams that stop it...I am all for having different offensive gameplans based on the opponent. You know attack a teams weakness even if it means scrapping a play that may be our strength

Me too. Wish our coaching staff felt the same.
