He has a great resume and a long record of success. Yesterday afternoon his team was outmanned against Alabama. You can’t make chicken salad with chicken shite. He will bring a very successful offense to LSU, just like he did at Cincinnati and many other places that he has coached at.

i don’t like the “outmanned” argument. surely Cinci’s defense was also outmanned by Bamas offense but yet they still were getting stops and having success during the game. Why couldn’t the offense do the same besides the scripted opening drives?

Cincy gave up 27

Defense had success??

They got it crammed down their throats all game long.

LSU's O will be Brian Kelly's O and NOT anyone else's.

Because their offensive line was completely and totally dominated. You can’t run an offense when that happens. They couldn’t run the ball, and so Alabama pinned their ears back and defended the passing game by blitzing the quarterback.

Cincy’s only hope was to break big plays somehow, and their receivers aren’t good enough for that.

Bama couldn’t run the ball against LSU this year and had to rely on big plays from guys like Jameson Williams and John Metchie in order to defeat LSU.

Bama ran for 300 yards and almost had 500 yards of offense.
