No disrespect either but Montgomery on last years team would have been dominant, not good. Neal in a Chavis scheme you'd barely notice.
I like Neal btw, but people forget Montgomery was a 1st team AA and 2x 1st team All SEC because he didn't have the discipline to make it in the league

Mills was not one of our 4 most talented last season. He was also picked on when he came back similar to Dwayne thomas before mills' return.
But yes he moved all over bc he was a 4 year starter and knew Raymond's calls like the back of his hand, like white will this year

If we win hardware this year it would be a great accomplishment. Even if we just get in one of the big bowls would be great. We really won't have a true championship team for another 3 years imo. By that time if we keep the coaches we have and keep building we will truly have a championship caliber team with quality depth across the board. We may win something this year and have the seniors to do it we just lack the junior and redshirt sophomore depth we will have then if we can keep so many guys from departing early. But yes on paper this is the best defense we've had in a while

I'll concede to overlooking Barrow. Barrow was solid

I stand by Montgomery > Neal, and Mills being less talented than much of last years secondary
