I'm a fan of Les Miles, after the Arkansas game I was ready for a change.

I was also appalled by the way it played out with Board members making assanine comments, ADs remaining deafeningly silent and of course the Media bent to destroy our reputation in defense of Miles.

I personally think what happened in Tiger Stadium countered and fixed the damage that was being done and of course it gave Les one more year to right the ship.

How about we all accept that, stop insulting each other, stop insulting the coaching staff and let's just be fans.

We should have our third straight top 5 recruiting class coming in and we have a lot of returning starters and key players coming back. We know QB, as always is a concern but look at the jump Mett made from his first year to second as a starter.

Let's have a truce, no more posi or nega bullshite, let's just be Tigers!

Next year will be brutal.

Those wanting les out will be able to say "told you so" every false start, incomplete pass, 3 and out......

Those who wanted les to stay will do the same when we beat Wisconsin and miss. State

That's why I'm hoping enough people on both sides can just call a truce and let's see what happens.

If we aren't in the hunt come next November, hopefully Alleva will keep his whore mouth shut and start securing our next Head Coach.

There is no truce with the rabid negas. They will lie in wait for the opportune time to come out of their miserable caves.

The thing is, they are right about a lot of things. Les is stubborn and apparently has a genetic disorder in developing QBs, the back end of this season proved that.

The pumpers were right, in that firing Miles, without an adaqute replacement was media, and therefore perception suicide.

We were all right and we were all wrong, let's just put it behind us, hope our dumb arse AD learned how to keep his mouth shut and let it play out.

Miles made the mistake of believing that his philosophy of ramming it down the D with LF could actually work against top teams with just a game manager at QB. He was seduced by LF's Heisman performances and Harris's error free play. He should have focused on developing Harris's confidence and experience. When we ran into the big boys, LF was shut down and Harris was back into "headlight" mode. Our D was too thin to hold back the power teams, especially with the 3 n outs.

I predict Miles, having seen his coaching life flash before his eyes, will move forward with a change in philosophy. Still believing in the run, but more aggressive in the play calling. The highly ranked recruiting class will bring in much needed talent and depth ( thanks Chief ).
