Please reveal yourself. Your insistent attempt to defend Jones is perplexing. I've defended him all season but he lost me this weekend. Why do you insist on defending the product. Are you a relative? I'm being serious

Who cares? How in the hell is that relevant to his job at LSU now?

Do you even watch the product Jones puts on the floor?

Just a die hard LSU basketball fan who has been reading this board and very disappointed with the inaccurate information. I agree that this season is disappointing but I think that expectations were way to high for this team and that the team and the star player failed to handle the pressure. A lot of things contributed to that including Johnny's coaching and being able to manage the egos on this team. I am just not willing to write Johnny off because this is not the first time where a highly regarded recruiting class fell short. I think he has done a good job every season besides this one and deserves a shot to right the ship next season. If next season doesn't show promise then I am all for firing him.

The coach himself said before the season that this was supposed to be a big year. LSU marketed Ben Simmons and used his image to sell tickets. LSU and the coach set the expectations high and failed to meet them.

My point behind posting this was just to put accurate data on this site. What you do with it is your choice. I have been seeing a lot of inaccurate information and decided to do some research for myself.

Trivia Answers:

1st Question: D (Johnny led them to two of them (2007& 2010)
2nd Question: A
3rd Question: B

Johnny has the highest winning percentage of any coach their first four seasons in LSU history and has LSU third in conference wins the past two seasons behind Kentucky and A&M. I think the guy deserves another season and has done a good job every season besides this one. If next season doesn't show promise with the on court results and recruiting then I say he should go. For now I think he has earned time next season and the support of our fan base.
