I don't get the hype. And after watching him play in person several times, nor do I understand it.

He's small, slow, can't separate, and can't block.

Why is he in the game? He has shown time and time again that he isn't ready to play at this level.

Drops, Fumbles, etc.

So I pose this question. Why does he play? Why is he in the game? Because he caught a lot of passes in high school????

This is D1 SEC football and Quinn has looked and proven that he isn't ready for it.

Russell Shappard 2.0 in the making.

The third down drop in BAMA game is absolutely inexcusable. Especially when you are wide open, and you are supposedly a "possession" receiver.

The kid is not even a full season into his collegiate career and this board already wants him off the team.

Since you are saying Quinn was wide open does that mean he got separation?

Ignoring the terrible misspelling in this post, Quinn was not the #1 high school player in the country. He also wasn't a QB turned WR. He also wasn't even a 5 star recruit. They're really not comparable in the least.

you do realize that was like a 100mph fastball from 7 yards away and behind him right?

You clearly don't pay attention. You can put those drops on him obviously but don't act like he's been dropping them all year.

He's helped us win games and I'm sure the best players are on the field.

Its pretty telling that many on here think it's fair game to shite on Jennings but its blasphemy to talk about Trey Quinn.

I think he has done a great job except for the drops in the last game. He has a lot of work to improve just like Dupree. I think they are going to make a great combo in the next few years though

Dude! He is 18 years old and filling the void of ODB and Landry. Cut him a little slack. He will deliver!

Though he did have multiple drops in the game, he is by far, LSU's best route runner and he damn sure ain't slow. Don't understand the drops because watching him in high school and some of the earlier games this season, the kid has great hands. Nerves maybe. Point is, he has obvious talent. What's more puzzling to me is why Diarse has disappeared from the passing game altogether. He has serious skills.

He had a rough game.

But he's plenty fast, plenty big (ahead of typical freshmen physically), and will be a great Tiger.
