Thanks Scott. I love the Kelly, Mulkey and Jay Johnson hires but Scott really screwed up by firing WW and hiring MM. This is worse than sanctions.

Scott made the only right move, and protected LSU in the process. That's his job.

By throwing MBB under the bus for the foreseeable future? Maybe he should have just dissolved MBB then, right?

Having no program is better than having a losing program

I guess TN was wrong when they fired Pearl when he got caught ? No, they did what was best for the school. Don't forget, LSU football was on the firing line as well. Keeping Wade was a Huge risk at that time. I still don't think Wade skates on this.

I bet you think the paying of a player from his and his wife’s joint acct happened at LSU. Nope, it was at VCU.

Kansas is in a different position than LSU. The NCAA does play favorites and makes examples of others. The risk of keeping Wade was too big...

Even sanctions wouldn’t be as bad as the situation we are in now. So the risk of firing Wade and having to hire a mid major coach were actually worse than the risks of keeping WW.

It's a moot point...Wade is gone and we move on. Just like we moved on from O.

Auburn just had two coaches go to prison for paying guys. All that happened was the coaches fell on their swords and the school self impose a 1 year tourney ban. Pearl got off without a scratch.

What the crap?
“I want it, and I want it…NOW!” What a spoiled child…
We’re gonna have to sludge through the crap this year. It’s gonna get better…

Yes after we fired him it’s done but hiring McMahon was a terrible decision.

Maybe, but if WW doesn’t get a show cause, LSU might hire him back. And they should.
