Was so awesome watching him punk Evans for 4 quarters. Plus the loudest STTDB ever. That was easily my fav game of the season.

Neither deserve to be called great based on anything they have done in an LSU uniform. Both came in highly ranked in high school. Robinson has shown better upside so far and White has disappointed a little. Both were forced into action by lack of talent ahead of them and need time to grow. Hopefully they become great but I haven't seen it yet. And neither have you.

For a true freshman starting at LSU he most certainly did not disappoint.

If RR manhandling a unanimous top 10 pick for an entire game isn't impressive what is to you?

I couldn't post links either but have felt the board has felt that way also. Maybe misread though because more talk about RR instead of White on boards.

White is more of a playmaking corner. I think he's going to provide plenty of WOW plays on defense. He's going to take an int or fumble to the house with his slick moves like Mathieu and Claiborne. Robinson is a shutdown corner. He's going to blanket his side of the field and dare anybody to throw to him. He'll lock down players like Peterson and Claiborne used to do. That does not mean I think they will be better than any of those guys, but they definitely are on track to be just as dominant. That also doesn't mean one can't do the other, but so far in what limited games I have seen, this seems like what they will be known for.

Rasco and Hunter should get a lot of sacks with a little help.

I'd take coverage sacks everyday and all day, but I definitely want to see them blow people off the line and create havoc in the backfield like Sam, Brockers, Logan, Mingo used to.

So I guess Peterson didn't impress you either Clark. Really? These guys stepped in as true frosh and made some plays. You don't think Peterson, Claiborne, and Reid made mistakes?

And he did that as a stick. Dude has put on some serious muscle and Evans was as physical as they come, to a point where he's lucky he didn't get flagged more.

I think that Robinson is the better corner but we are probably talking about the difference between Peterson and Claiborne.

Kinda like Sosa and McGuire in '97. Sosa hit the second most home runs in a season and still didn't lead his division b/c of McGuire.

White might not be the best corner on our team but when its all said in done, he's gonna be better than every other corner in the league not named Robinson.

Why do our fans feel the need to abbreviate names? I've never understood that...

RR is a man specialist. TW has incredible quickness and is dominant in zone. TW will have more interceptions (if he doesn't drop them). RR will be he guy we asl to lock down receievers. Both are long and agile. Great combination. Add in Mills (hopefully) and you can put three great corners on the field at a time - an amazing luxury.

At best they will be #'s 2 and 3 in the SEC. There's something special at Florida.

I can't wait to watch these two dominate on the field these next two years! I really hope they can feed off of each other and push each other to make plays

Yeah Hargraves is a beast no doubt. I do think he, Robinson, and white will all be top 5 in the league at the end of the year

So Mills and Collins have no talent? As corners, these guys were not as good as the guys they replaced but no talent? You don't think these guys could start for MOST of the other schools in D1? Considering 99.999999999% of people aren't even good enough to start in High School, I think the young men have plenty of talent.

LSU is blessed. It's a testament to our in-state home-grown talent as well as Raymond's ability to recruit Florida that we have the emabarassment of riches that we have.

Mills is probably a 3rd round pick and could move higher based on how he performs in the role we ask him to play in 2014. These two kids gave us the luxury of moving a Freshman All-American-caliber CB to a rover/TM7 type position in the Secondary.

That luxury wasn't afforded because they were slightly worse players than he was. They displaced him in their first year.

I think that comparing them they're both taller corners but Robinson has that Richard Sherman-type build. He's also had a chance to play the position at the HS level a tad more. Which when you compare White, it seems that Robinson may have more overall to bring to the table. At least at this point.

White's superior athleticism could end up propelling him past RR21 once he's had adequate practice reps and totally acclimates to the position at this level. But make no mistake, both of these kids have upper-half NFL Draft evals right now, and we could easily be talking about two 1st-2nd round picks if their progression continues over the next two seasons.

RR stepped up so huge n that game that nobody in the nation had a better single game last year at the CB spot... that I know of.

And that includes any DBs from the gators.
