1997 L.S.U. vs Florida what a game! And by the way , my wife is a big Gator fan. Of course I had a great time that day!

97 florida

Given our history against Florida, and the fact that they were ranked #1...

I was given a ticket to that game by someone who was absolutely certain that LSU was going to get an arse whipping that night. #1

#2 1999 Arkansas. They were Cotton Bowl bound and we were 2-8 I think. Showed up without tix, and was given 4 in the Arky section as I walked past EBDoran bldg toward the stadium with two out of town first timers. (they still talk about this game when ever we get together).

NOt only did LSU win, they dominated Arky. It was totally unexpected, and for the 60k or so that were there and who had suffered through that awful season, it was an unforgettable win.

Speaking of Arky:

1966 Cotton Bowl---
"Unranked LSU (7-3-0) sprang one of the Classic’s biggest upsets, downing No. 2 Arkansas, 14-7, and ended college football’s longest winning streak at 22."
