None of them. I don’t associate any of these athletes with the academic side of the university.

Attending LSU is a byproduct of the brand itself and football being successful. Look at the application spikes after national championships.

Look at what Alabama has been able to do from an academic standpoint since Saban arrived. Enrollment flourished, the university spent money correctly on rehabbing the campus, profits were reinvested in various departments to help the program succeed.

Mixing water and jet fuel does not sound like a good idea that might be an OT science experiment thread.

LSU is already 55% women. If women’s basketball/gymnastics success has any impact on enrollment, it would like be only to increase the disparity.
Bama bumped their enrollment and academic ranking by heavily subsidizing free educations for out-of-state students with higher test scores. Whether they’ll get any return on their investment by inducing any of these students to stay (short of falling into a honey pot) remains to be seen.

Who the hell are Fico and Mack. 99.9% of the country don’t know who any of these people are.

99.9% of the people on this board don't know either. Myself included.

LoLo Jones?
Are you kidding me?
She was a good athlete but what she is known for is her relentless self-promotion.
She hasn't changed anyone's perspective on LSU...

I'm an LSU alum and have been an LSU fan for 50 years, but I haven't heard of half those names.

It was a 2 step move. One occurred a couple of years before he arrived. They established a full scholarship offer for all National Merit Scholars (like OU does) and I believe anyone who scored about a 30 on the ACT. That upped some of their poor academic issues and coupled with football popularity helped propel them where they are on both fronts.
