From one article:

quote:

1. Leonard Fournette, LSU Tigers, 142.0 elusive rating

No matter which way you slice it, Fournette is CFB's top back at the moment, and finds himself atop many statistical lists. As expected, he dominated an overmatched Eastern Michigan for 233 yards on 26 carries and three touchdowns. His 28 missed tackles forced rank second in the FBS despite LSU being one game behind most programs, while his 4.9 yards after contact per carry is the top mark in the nation.

LF is 1 missed tackle forced behind the leader. Also, for context, 2nd place has an elusive rating of 123.9, 3rd place is 102.5, and Nick Chubb is in 4th at 101.4.

And another:

It's not just that Fournette is averaging 216 yards per game for the No. 7 Tigers. It's how much better that is than everyone else. Fournette is averaging 56 yards per game more than the second-best guy in the FBS, Tyler Ervin of San Jose State. That's the biggest margin since Barry Sanders rewrote the record book in 1988, when he rushed for 2,628 yards and beat the runner-up by 85 yards per game. No rushing champion since Sanders has won by an average margin greater than 31 yards.
