only got 7 carries vs north texas....he could have easily padded his stats with 70-100 more yards and at least 2 more TD's

It actually should help him since they can say he didn't pad his stats against teams like North Texas.

And then we he goes down with an injury everyone is saying why was he in there.

I agree, he is gonna get enough attention if he keeps hammering out 100 yd 2 td games without having to pad the stats early on.

I like the attitude that Charles Scott has about the heisman hype. If it comes it comes, but first and foremost, the team needs to win. All the individual accolades mean nothing if the team doesn't win.
And I'd rather see Mr. Scott be healthy and not take as many hits, just so he can be mentioned as a candidate.

I hope LSU fans don't act like UF fans did last year when all they talked about and seemed to care about is tebow getting the heisman. At lsu I want it to be all about the team. We have depth and if we can limit scott's carries to keep in fresh for the home streatch I am fine with that.
To me it is all about team goals not individual goals. I'd rather have a sec championship trophy than a heisman trophy.

this isn't USC or some school looking for recognition like oregon has done or mizzou this year.
