Welcome, Tony! I'm happy with this hire, and I'm definitely glad we got through the hiring process quickly.

As long as he can fix the drops, I'm good.

Don't know anything about him.
But, congrats to him.

Seems like an excellent hire. Ball has been the WR coach at UGA since 09 (was RB coach from 06-08) and the Bulldogs consistently had quality WR play during that time. They lost their top two or three receivers to injury in 2013 and the passing game hardly missed a beat.
Doesn't look like much of a recruiter but his ties appear to be strongest in the Tennessee/Virginia/Carolinas area. We should have no problem getting him talent to work with, and he definitely seems like a strong developmental coach based on the results he got at Georgia.

Good hire
My only concern is he's 55 years old. Was kind of hoping for a little younger up and coming coach.

Virginia.
He isnt the best recruiter. But he is one heck of a WR coach.

Sweet. Anything to irritate Georgia.

Billy Gonzales part 2. Go ahead and downvote. You'll get it in two years.
