Tonight was all about posturing for Alleva

Things don't just happen overnight and when your talking about tens of millions of dollars on the line, everything isn't as knee jerk as the Internet..
Tonight was just an effort to buy some time until an agreement (no matter what that may be) can be made, and get the media and fans off of their backs

Bro, it's over.
Jimbo was the coach they wanted and he wanted fricking Saban money. They weren't going to pay 15 million, plus some staff pay offs. Plus 7 million a year for 3 years and all new staff. That is bad business.
They had eyes for Jimbo and the money was too much. There really isn't anyone else that fits the bill to replace Larry Coke... err Mack Br... Les Miles.
