I understand Les has a run first mentality and is extremely gun shy about turnovers. But that shite on Saturday was ridiculous.

Auburn was stacking the box, doing a pretty good job and keeping runs to a minimum. They were daring LSU to throw it but Les showed his preference was to run it up the gut and hope a hole opened up. That's a problem.

It was a very bad close game for LSU.

Do you think any of those other teams outgained their opponents 2:1 in their "average" performances? LSU's defense never gave up a drive in the Auburn game. LSU's offense was unable to fully recover from the losses in field position brought on by late hits and blocks in the back.

I wasn't serious brah. I actually think LSU matches up with equal speed. LT is an issue no doubt. Funny thing for me is, I also happen to think Mett could beat them!

You're right.....I think Jesse Palmer is the best at analyzing teams and postions. I don't care what any others have to say.

didn't say driskell was better. said that at this time with his experience he is playing at a higher level in the SEC. Mett has more upside but Mett is still a little shell shocked. understandable. I've watched driskell and he's just playing football and making plays.

our coach doesn't really want (or trust) our qb to make plays at this point. Not to say he doesn't ask him to throw the ball on 3rd down.

If Mett had the experience and looked as comfortable as driskell and shaw I would feel really confident.

we can still win out, but it's going to be a ride.

Luginbill's a joke. All of his football "experience" comes from his daddy giving him jobs.

Understand your point. Watched Driskell as well. Here we go.

The East is so overrated. Wake me up when they actually do something and it's not just hype.

I don't know about that brah. Georgia is looking pretty good right now. Not to mention USCe and the Gators. They all have looked as good as LSU. You have to admit that.

On the road, with an untested QB, a makeshift OL, receivers with the dropsies. Why the hell would he throw the ball? He did the smart thing. Play it safe, punt and rely on his outstanding defense. It worked. Sorry Luginbill and the negatigers aren't satisfied, but we're 4-0.

You'd rather have a five interception game a la Curly Hallman?

Georgia's defense is suspect. South Carolina is South Carolina until they prove otherwise.

Don't even try to put Florida up with LSU and Alabama.

I think it's their way of pushing USCw back to the top.

Even now with their returning starters and potentially the best linebacker in the country?

Agree.

We play it out and see who is correct. Last year ESPN gave LSU tons of love. I dont think their is some secret agenda. Alabama is the darling because they looked very impressive in Dallas. We win and we will get the love.
