Proof positive that playing chops don't translate into color commentary chops.

He's kind of an a-hole.

But I agree he's the best college hitter of all time. And came up in some big moments in the MLB as well.

Loved watching him play. He's doing a fine job with this game.

He's kind of an a-hole.

Let's just say Calvary won't be inviting him back for any reunions or appearances after his 3 years as their head baseball coach. He obviously knows a lot , but was the worst coach I've ever seen at any level. He took over a great program and put in the dumpster. Had the worst possible relationships with the players and parents you can imagine. Literally, everyone celebrated when he left. Very sad to have an LSU icon as your coach and be such a horrible experience. He'll probably do good as a broadcaster or a professional coach. He has no business working with kids.

Didn't Calvary get rid of a great coach to make room for Todd?

Yes, which was obviously a terrible move. The $ man at the time in the baseball program influenced that decision to get Todd at Calvary, along with Johnny Booty.

Todd doesn't have a whole lot of sizzle, but he hits on the real points of the game.... And some stuff you wouldn't think of.

I like my color guy being a little slow to talk, but hit when he delivers

What can you say about a coach that missed the last 2 regular season games because picking up his plane was more important. Then flew that plane to the 2nd rd playoff game rather than ride with his team on the charter bus to New Orleans. Then showed up late for pre-game BP, no worries, the Calvary girls softball coach filled in. So where were TW's asst. coaches? On the plane of course.
