That depends. On the athletic side of things, this isn't true. On the academic side of things, you'd be surprised at how true this statement is.

Nah.....doesn't change the fact that Steele was a completely underwhelming hire. Only thing it does is make me confident the cupboard will be full if this thing goes south.

I emailed them and I stand by my words. We hired a fricking terrible defensive coordinator.
Also, I didn't curse or threaten. I wrote a pretty professional email asking for an explanation of how we got to Kevin Steele, a terrible DC, when there were so many more qualified candidates out there.
Adding Ed Orgeron to recruit and improve our defensive line does not make Kevin Steele a good DC. It was a terrible, terrible hire for such an important position. Our defense has carried us for years.
