The program is not mediocre, nor unstable. We have one of the best programs in the nation.

4-4 in SEC play last year.

Likely be 4-4 again.

FAIL.

Um...we have the number 1 recruiting class right now. Looking like we will finish at least in the top 3.

I wasn't referring to the recruiting class, I know we have a stable full of talent, and more on the way. What I mean is the buyout on Les' contract. It will cost us more over time, but I believe LSU will make it up on ticket sales and merchandise when we trade our coach for a new one.

Which college program would you trade places with the last 10 years?

Last 10? Alabama.

Last 4? Probably 20.

Last 2? Probably 40.

A cautionary tale: Nebraska

I am so motherfricking tired of hearing about Nebraska. Yes, a team fired a coach and got worse. So fricking what? Other teams have fired coaches and gotten better. So what?

This stupid arse Nebraska shite has to be the lamest and dumbest fricking argument ever for keeping a mediocre coach.

My beef with Miles is that the team has just not been that much fun to watch over the past few years. Win or lose.

we aren't hiring a coach to replace the past 10 years. We're hiring a coach to strategize ourselves for the next 10 years.

I agree with that individual. I don't know him but I'd buy the guy a beer.

He said it all. Quick and to the point. We just wanna see better results, it's the cost of big business.

And yes, at this point, we are willing to take a chance with someone else. We are betting on our current talent and trusting the university to make the correct hire. Yes, it could not work out, BUT, it could.

We are willing to change. Aren't you tired of mediocrity?

how bout the last 5, when he was losing more and more every year (including the biggest game of his life)?

If LSU wins on Saturday, his trend is going back up.

The people who mention Nebraska as an excuse to do nothing fail to look at anything but the negative. Its all about making a good hire. If you push out Mack Brown and hire Charlie Strong (not a good fit) you end up with a bad deal. If you take Florida this year as an example of the reverse, you see there are postiive new hire stories. Everyone wants to support their position, but constantly bringing up Nebraska is intentionally attempting to spin the argument to a desired outcome.

The same can be said for stating you can't fire Miles because as of now LSU has the number one recruiting class. LSU has consistently been top 10 or higher in recruiting class rankings yet the results show different. Shouldn't that be looked at as another negative for Miles?
