"40 min game we played 15 minutes.
We stopped competing and I didn't like it
For whatever reason our guys broke away from game plan and we stop competing
I am disappointed for fans and wish we had a better effort.
The 9 games in February will define us and if we play post season"

This team thinks that REBOUNDING is a ten letter dirty word. Miss-State and Kentucky looked like they were playing volleyball on the offensive boards in the last two games. I hate to look at the box scores to see the rebounding difference.

You know what? I agree.
BUT.....WHO ALLOWS THE KIDS TO SHOOT WHATEVER THE FRICK SHOT THEY WANT WITH SEEMINGLY TO ME NO CONSEQUENCE?!!
I'm all for keeping it simple, but if you keep it simple AND allow repeated poor shot selection you're pissing in the wind. You're making it too easy to defend us.
And when you zone with two 5-8 guys on the wings you may be able to get away with it for 2-3 possessions against one of the best team in the country, but you're playing with fire Trent. That did us in right before the half.
I like ya' man and I'm pulling for you but you sold your kids short with that coaching effort tonight.
I didn't expect to win tonight, but I expected to compete at least better than Georgia did. I didn't get that and I'm not gonna rationalize it. Piss poor.

That could be easily cured by some BLOCKING OUT.
Not boxing out I'm talking about some SERIOUS BODYING-UP!
You might be surprised at how much serious team blocking out will take the heart from your opponent and cure a whole lot of ills.
This team looks like they might talk about it or remember something about it from high school but do not drill it in practice.
It used to drive me crazy but I'm resigned to the reality now. Ain't gonna happen...
