After wanting to go for several years, I'm finally getting the chance to attend the Bayou Bash. I'm excited about the location change back to the River Center and the incredible class coming in. Does anyone have any tips on when to arrive, where to stake out a spot, the opportunities for autographs, what to expect, etc.?

You're gonna pay $20
And there are no more food vendors. No more free beer.

Used to be awesome. Now it sucks.

Too bad! Free food and beer at the BB for $20 would have been awesome... ????????

So I noticed it gets started pretty early and lasts until night. What time do you recommend getting there? Is there general or assigned seating? Is it important to get there early to get a good seat? What time does it really get rolling?

I cannot stress enough how much it sucks. Been typing the same thing for years on here. Everyone gets hyped up to go and its just a big fricking letdown.

Depends if you can hook up w someone that has a table - then your food and drinks are free. As for what to expect the silent auction is pretty cool - I usually come away w something. Video highlights are great and football celebs are everywhere! You will have a GREAT time!

Sounds great! I won't be at a table though. Any other advise for general admission?

Me and a couple of friends go every year and we never get a table, in the past at river center 40 bucks was all day food and beer, at the casino was $100, there is silent auctions, video's of recruits, espn etc, just depends some on here hate it but I always enjoy it, if nothing else I am out of the office for the day.

Sounds good! Is it worth going early for, or do the mornings drag? What time does it really get rolling?

A day off of work in the middle of the week just to talk LSU football, drink beer, and eat jambalaya. Let me know when I get to the part that sucks.

The silent auction is cool. That's the whole reason my brother goes, he usually walks away with several items. He beat out Louis Coleman in a bidding war on a painting a few years back.
TGBFTL comes and play for the crowd later in the day followed by Miles and the rest of the coaching staff. Former LSU players hanging out.

We usually get there about 9 to 9:30 and stay until the end when Les speaks.
