Tre White has the #18, is a team leader, and a great tiger. I just don't think he has next level ability in the return game. There are WAY too many elite athletes on this team to accept mediocre play in that position.

Clearly we have been spoiled with all time great return men in the past, and I think White might be doing too much to try and meet that level of expectation. He's trying to do things Peterson and Matthieu were doing which are things you can't and don't coach in all honesty.

If we can force some punts against western Kentucky this weekend I think it would be great to see a couple different people have an opportunity to return. Who would the rant like to see fielding punts?

Guice, Jackson or Quinn should get a shot....whichever one is the most surehanded.

I am all for Guice returning kicks. I got really excited to see him back there in the florida game.

Think he got to return one and brought it to the 30-35 yard line? Or am I mistaken? I was a little drunk

About a dozen players on our team could have returned the one Tre did against the Cuse. He just makes bad decisions on trying to field the ball around the 10 yard line.

maybe...maybe not

and you want Jackson returning punts? He just lost his kick returning job. Not sure how much more effective he would be on punts.

I would like to see Donte on punt returns...he has great hands and could make the first defender miss and off to the races..kickoffs may not be right for him

Well I think the worst thing that could have happend was him returning that punt in terms of not lookin at other options sooner.

Catch the ball, make one guy miss and turn on the afterburners.

requires a lot more decisions to make before catching the ball, which is the gripe with White, that he sometimes makes poor decisions with fielding

I don't know how much I trust Donte yet

Guice hs that breakaway speed and the hands for a kick returner, not to sure if he would be good returning punts.

With that said, I would like to see a receiver back there, maybe quinn or dupre.

if you were to put a WR back there, I'd put Dural

he has the best speed, power and agility out of the WRs

Jackson would be great if he'd come out of the gate flying like he can. Seemed a little reluctant on kickoff returns to me. White is not making good decisions and it's time for him to stay on strictly defense.
I'd like to see Guice back there.

Letting so many punts hit the ground is my biggest question about TW. IMO that's more coaching. But aside from leading to the Florida muff, if blockers are trying to sustain blocks, eventually one of of those punts will bounce into them too.
It's bad execution.

Fournette

Why not your best player lol. Watching the Florida highlights from a poster that put all Harris's passes together, when LF got the ball you could immediately tell he is easily the most talented player on the team. He is so smooth and explosive.

Or Chark. We have heard a lot about his talent and speed. Let him have a shot at it.
