Tim is competing for the 15th spot on the Trailblazers roster, and his main competition was cut tonight. Luis Montero, who is a similar type player was cut. It comes down to whether the Blazers keep another center or another guard. Quarterman's versatility - he can play the 1,2, or 3 spot - will be the key if the Blazers decide to keep him on the roster at the start of the season.

He will be a project, and probably won't get much playing time, as the Blazers have a deep backcourt, with starters Lilliard and McCollum, and Napier/Turner backing them up.

As some teams do, the Blazers may decide to keep that 15th spot open.
