… make their fans feel lot better if every batter came to plate and swung at the first 3 pitches instead of letting good hittable pitches go by…..regardless as to whether they hit the ball or not!! Get aggressive at the plate!

They do with half acting like this is new. Tommy White has always been a first-pitch swinger if he likes the pitch.
Like most things in baseball, there are opposing views about swinging at first pitches. One school says it is likely to be the best pitch you see in an at-bat for any good pitcher while others say you should watch the pitch to gauge the pitcher. I say if whatever a guy is doing in regards to the first pitch is working, let him keep doing it.

There's a complete difference between blindly swinging and swinging because a pitcher is clearly throwing a meatball or pitch towards the middle on the first pitch.

And then people would be pisses when the starting pitcher for the other team throws a complete game.
