Tigers win in the way they should have won every game in the past 3 weeks

The boys come through when they needed to, Ott gave up a little but came through in the end. It wasn't a dominant performance by any means but, a solid performance nonetheless, even with 7 pitchers.

If they can figure out how to keep winning games "the way they're supposed to" while reducing their number of pitchers used per game to 6... Should be smooth sailing all the way to Omaha.
ETA:
Box Score shows USM at 2 Errors for the entire game. So I'm guessing 2 or less.

when you change pitchers to minimize the damage and hit when you need to, you give yourself a chance to win, unlike the past 3 weeks. they have shot themselves in the foot every time they have had the lead or tied the game. The coach has made some bad decisions on relief pitching, putting more weight on the batters shoulders, we are not the power hitting team that we were 2 years ago, but these kids can come through with some hits. You can't expect to win when you let a pitcher give up 2-3 runs in the top of 8th or 9th and think he's gonna get pitch his way out of it. Look at all the teams that have beat us, when the pitcher is behind, they pull him. When our pitchers are in a hole, he is left in, and the offense is left holding the bag.
