NOBODY giving them a chance to pull out this W. It's time to show what kinda heart you have, fellas. They say a tiger is most dangerous with his back against the wall.

Make FTs, defend for the full 40 minutes and rebound the basketball...let's shut the critics up and continue grinding to our goals. #RunOffThePlug

I need this badly. I'm not hopeful or expecting it. But I just would do anything for a victory there

Me too Butt. Really nothing I've seen so far this year gives me much hope, but if there is a point in the season where this team changes the course of the year and proves us wrong for said lack of hope, it really has to start now.

Geaux Tigers!!

Vanderbilt's Memorial Gymnasium is one of the most difficult gyms for any opponent to come away with a win. I'm not sure if its is having the players and coaches at the ends [instead of court-side], but LSU traditionally doesn't play well there.

Look at common opponents [Wake Forest] and results vs. a much more difficult schedule and its not at all hard to see this projection.

I've been out of town for New Years and in a drunken stooper until today...but anyway, did Simmons really say Vandy's bigs couldn't guard him? If so, that is literally awesome. He needs to start just saying f the free world and try to drop 30-40 a game. The last few games he's been so passive it doesn't seem like the defense is crashing on him at all

We did win there last year. It wasn't pretty, but we pulled it out. I'll take another one of those.

Using common opponents in any sport is dumb, but it's downright useless in basketball. Some teams play into another's hands, not to mention one injury in basketball can completely change a team. Just because Vandy crushed Wake in Maui the night after Wake had a huge emotional win does not stick a fork in LSU.

Vandy is a good team, but LSU has terrific players. Most are frustrated with LSU because talent wise, we are a top 20 team. So LSU CAN win any game, but we have proven that we can be lazy mentally and emotionally therefore lose any game.

Outside of the Charleston game (which was terrible scheduling and LSU ran into a buzzsaw), LSU could have easily won the other 4 and 2 of the 4 went to OT and another was lost at the buzzer. It sucks because they're still losses that hurt the resume, but we have no been getting blown out.
