Yeah, this place can become a repeating cesspool of finger pointing and negativity when the chips are down, but almost everyone who posts here really is an LSU fan.

As disappointed and disgusted as we all felt on Saturday night, the team and coaches must feel many times worse. Its bad enough that they had to fight the losing battle, they are also feeling the heat from the fans as well.

We saw how deflated they got last year after the Bama game and it would be a shame for them to go on a similar slide at the end of this season because the next few games are no cake walk. What if we actively tried to pump them up?

I'm not really up to date on Twitter, Instagram, etc. but that is a direct avenue of connecting with the players that is probably sending them a lot of bad vibes right now...how about sending some focused good vibes from the TDers who are connected through social media? If they had the feeling that they have our support it probably wouldn't hurt...and I really would enjoy us putting a spanking on R Kansas, Ole Mrs., and those weirdos in College Station.

ETA: Any suggested hashtags, phrases or anything else you guys would like to suggest to be picked up and repeated so the team knows they have our support to get back on track?

You guys have a dang strong team and one game doesn't make or break your year. Each week anyone in the SEC can be beat. Good luck to you guys the rest of the year.

Maybe the coaching staff is paid six figures or more to do this and yet somehow it is always up to us, the fans, to figure out another way to see the gold at the end of the rainbow but guess what...

It might not ever come

No.

It could be, certainly...but that's simply not the point of this place. That's obvious in how both fans that claim LSU as their own and self proclaimed opposition fans are allowed to call out players and coaches year after year.

It's kind of depressing, honestly...that the largest message board in the LSU fan universe gives off the general vibe that most fans essentially dislike LSU.

I get the frustration, but the players are young guys feeling a lot of pressure. However, they aren't professional athletes being paid for it. They are representing our school and our state.

My post isn't about seeing gold at the end of the rainbow, its about encouraging our players not to give up on finding it. I think fan support at this point in the season would be more beneficial than vocal fan negativity. It was easy and fun being a fan over the previous 7 or 8 weeks, I don't think that the idea of giving a little bit back right now in the hope of a great regular season and bowl finish sounds too bad

Our young blockers, what was left of them, were out of sync and paid for it.

Also, I'm pretty positive, in his own way of saying it, Les hinted that our ST may see some new coaching in the future. He knows blocking schemes aren't being taught well right now. And no amount of scowling on the sidelines will save Peveto his job. Peveto does well recruiting, but the product that HE is responsible for isn't working. Our boys need some better lessons on blocking so that we don't have to make odd decisions on kicks to make up for it.

It was one game, and this season is not over.

This is 100% correct. And after reading a typical poster on TOS telling Dylan Moses' father that he wouldn't let his kids play for Miles, it's refreshing to read your post. People don't understand the power, addictiveness, and contagiousness of that negative outpouring. Hold it in like a man until your reason has caught up with your heart.

We still have a chance at a special season the players and the fans need to realize that. We need to finish strong and win these next 3 games it will take everything we got to do so and who knows bama could stumble again. I think they play us different they come extra focused and extra prepared and it shows in their play. Miles tries to make it a business as usual week and that's the difference between these two teams. It's not business as usual it's fricking Alabama your biggest rival and biggest hurdle to getting where you want to be working overtime is a must. I hope we finish strong but if we don't I'll still love my Tigers and will be there cheering till the end.

Agreed and its not coincidental both LSU and Bama take two weeks to prepare for one another...

With that said with JD Moore out we need to encourage his backups that they can be taught to do Moore's job so LF has the daylight he needs...

And then there is Sid Ortis looking down just another BIG reason for players, coaches and fans to "Just Do It" for Sid

That's what I'm talking about! Dak is on a roll, and I think we find our feet again this weekend. Our O-line is too good to not dust themselves off and come out with fire this weekend.

would you rather us be out there poisoning trees, looting, tea-bagging opposing fans, murdering our loved ones?

Keep some perspective dude...its not all gloom and doom and if the players and coaches are reading this shite show and putting any credence in what they see.....they've got bigger problems than anything TD could create.
