Dr. Evil: Here's the plan. We surround the South End Zone with Suites and an upper deck for... 99,999 SEATS!

Number Two: Don't you think we should ask for *more* than 99,999 seats? 99,999 seats isn't exactly big enough to be in the 100K club. Alabama Bryant-Denny alone has over 104,000 seats!

Dr. Evil: Really? That's a lot of seats.
[pause]

Dr. Evil: Okay then, we'll just expand Tiger Stadium to ...

ONE... HUNDRED... BILLION... SEATS!

Have you ever been to Ben Hill Griffin? 88K and is one of the loudest i have ever been to. We will get up to 100k, but its just a way to make money and sell more tickets, if you shove 3000 more fans that sit on their hands, then it doesnt matter. Cus thats essentially what they will be doing.

Bd has only recently gotten bigger than us, this expansion will put us at 3rd in the sec.

I don't think they can close the north endzone. The construction and the supports would end up being right on top or too close to mike the tigers cage and the PMAC. That's why the north endzone got the nice scoreboard and the south stayed with the crappy one b/c they knew they'd expand the south endzone anyway

I think they'll find a way to get it over the 100,000 threshold, even if it takes narrowing seats (Tennessee style) on those bleachers near the ramps.

But either way....it'll never be finished on time.
