Tiger Stadium facelift coming.....

AD Joe Alleva said his #1 project (other than caretaking LSU football) is to renovate the exterior of Tiger Stadium. He brings a fresh set of eyes to LSU's campus, and he immediately saw the blight of the old dorms, and just old things that need to be cleaned up. He plans to fix the broken windows, missing windows, etc) and remove the 100 yr old window units hanging from the dorms, etc. He said that "Tiger Stadium is an old lady, and we need to take care of it".
He plans on renaming North Stadium Dr to something more apropos, and making a park-like tailgating atmosphere in that area.
Alleva was a great hire for LSU. The ideas he shared were numerous and outstanding. Great time to be an LSU Tiger.

I've wondered if it would look cool, during the night games, to turn on the lights in the dorm rooms. It could bring the whole stadium to life... I've never seen it like that before.

Stadium expansion? We can't even fill up the stadium we have.
Aside from renovating the exterior dorms, the number one priority should be new scoreboards.

Am I the only one on the waiting list for season tickets?? I bet they could fill that stadium up routinely if they went to 110,000... of course there would be smaller games that would not fill, but it seem to me that it would fill enough to justify the spending.

To the guys in charge it's not about filling the seats but about selling the seats. And all the seats are sold. If they added another 10k those would sell too!
