You have no idea what it's like when it comes to this type of shite so STFU! What's really shameful is the BCS keeps sending you to redeem yourself against the SEC and you frickers refuse to show up. fricking pussies.

You're right, I don't really know. That's why it's my OPINION. I would think that a hurricane that's three days away from landfall wouldn't make a huge difference to people that already payed $60 (or more) a ticket, and should still have time to go back to their homes after the game, pack up (which they can also do before the game), and evacuate with more than 48 hours to spare.

There has probably been 80,000 or more tickets sold, my guess. I'd think that most of those people a) live within 60 miles of BR, pretty close distance, b) don't want to waste $60 or more if they have more than one ticket, c) would be able to sell the tickets to someone who would want to go, and/or d) not care much about a hurricane, foolishly, when it comes to LSU football. Therefore, I'd think 65,000 of those 80,000 would go. You would probably then have at least 10,000 more who don't have tickets who would buy from scaplers, who might be selling cheaply. Plus, it's the defending National Champs first game, and their fans might want to see them. This is why I said less than 75,000 would be disappointing. It's a guess. It's my OPINION.

What was the BCS supposed to do the past two years? Not send us? Who would have been over us? 2006 was a terrible result, yes, but no other team deserved over us. We played like absolute crap that game. But you know what about 2007? I was proud, VERY proud of that team. That's right, very proud. I was proud that a team predicted to go to the Cap One Bowl before the year that had only THREE senior starters managed to over acheive in a supposed rebuilding year and make the NCG, and actually competed. Very proud of that team, and always will be.

I think there are many factors when coming up with as close to the winning number as possible....

A. How many people really think the hurricane will have an effect on their lives and are willing to take action... Especially as it tracks more West

B. What % of people won't show up b/c of the time change?

C. What % of people will take no shows tickets with them to re-distribute to the ticket-less?

D. How many would-be butts in the seats have already evacuated?

E. What's the weather for gametime?

F. Will there be enough coffee and whiskey to go around???

After factoring all the factors and other factors that are matters of fact.. I'll say 80,000 at kickoff.. 88,000 by halftime.

Make no mistake.. it will be a sedated bunch. Not much Defensive noise.
