It means we will have finally beaten Bama, won the SEC, and won the ship!

Speak for yourself. That's the worst possible scenario.

LSU winning championships is the worst possible scenario?

Keeping Coach Orgeron as head coach for more than the rest of this season is a terrible idea.

Number one, they aren't winning out, no matter how much you, or I, or anyone wants then to.

Number two, Ed Orgeron is not the long term solution to LSU's problems.

Number three, feel free to check my history the next time you want to call me a "nega" or whatever nickname you have for someone who doesn't agree with your viewpoint.

Why not?

They have the talent. Believe in your Tigers! Players read this board! They can do it!

Obama wasn't president ten years ago.

This team can do it this year!

No we are not. That should not even be considered unless we win the rest of our games this season.

That was the point of the OP.

If he wins out. Good effort. Good try.

There's a reason Les Miles was the head coach, Cam Cameron was the OC, Ed Orgeron was the defensive line coach, and Steve Ensminger the tight ends coach.

You aren't going to go undefeated throughout a much, much tougher schedule with your defensive line coach as the interim head coach and your tight ends coach calling the plays, I don't care how much talent you have.

Hopefully Orgeron is retained as a position coach by the new head coach. Beyond that, who knows.

There's a reason they were fired. I know it pains the miles lovers.

Exactly. So what does that make the coaches toiling below them? The ones that have been a head coach, and an OC before?

One is the current head coach. The other is the assistant head coach.

They're leading the Tigers for the season! I'm hoping they win out! Aren't you?

I always root for my tigers to win. I want us to win out. Whatever happens with coaching due to how we finish the season, well, so be it. If we win out, he deserves a legitimate shot as HC. If he doesn't, we move on.

I don't think the OP is saying he wants O as head coach. He's saying he hopes we win out, while acknowledging that winning out likely gets O the full time gig. That's a secondary affect to us winning out. So, therefore he's rooting for O to win the job because he wants LSU to win out.
