Did you folks open up a local alumni chapter there? I thought I heard there was one in the works.

Although I went to LSU for two years back in the
'60s, I didn't graduate.

You don't need to be an LSU graduate to be a local alumni member.

Go to: www.LSUDenver.com

Contact the people by email or phone and see if there is a chapter or not. If there is, they can direct you to the folks to hook up with. If not, maybe you can join us here in the Denver chapter. We have a lot of great things we do every year including the annual crawfish boil, the SEC picnic, and weekly view-ins for football games. Give it a shot!

I love it when I get random "Geaux Tigahs". Most random one was from a Mexican waiter while on the beach in Cabo. Was wearing an LSU hat and he screamed it from a few tables over (from the next restaurant). Pretty awesome moment I thought.

...and no, never went and asked him.

I lived up there for sevaral years and yes, there is quite a strong LSU following there...

we had a a good number of folks join the alumni chapter who weren't affiliated with LSU at all...people would just see us watching football at a public place and just wanted to join in the fun....

Air Force is getting ready to kick off against UNLV in Falcon Stadium. It's 10 degrees.

Wonder how UNLV likes the weather?

What is you conference for?

This is a heck of a weekend to come up to Denver. Last night was our first snow of the season, in Denver that is.

I wish the saints game would have been on Sunday so you could check out Stoney's for the game. Not only do we have a large LSU following, but our Saints fans up here are some of the best. And they are plentiful as well. I'll try to get a video uploaded of the 1st falcons game so you can see how rowdy it gets.
