It don't look like LSU is using composite bats this year. Did the NCAA outlaw them this year? If so, that could make a big difference in the HR totals.

Fairly certain NCAA outlawed, still legal in HS and LL though. I don't think Gaudet got the memo on the HR reductions

yeah the ncaa put a moratorium on them after the cws last season. now vandy coaches and fans will have to find another reason why everyone else hits home runs and they don't

the ncaa did get rid of comp. bats this year, i would guess that high school isnt too far behind them on this issue.

yeah, georgia used nike composite bats last season. vandy had UT's bats confiscated after their series with them and then was at the forefront of the bats being tested before the cws and the testing in the off season.
