Still one of my favorite games I've ever been to. From Auburn stomping on the eye & getting the penalty to Tubberville's face after the onside kick, this game had it all. The student section was LIT! Just one of those old-school games that I'll never forget. Back when Death Valley was a place where opponents' dreams DID go to die. Let's bring back the magic this year!

LSU 27 Auburn 14

It was chilly.

My freshman year. when we got on the field I happen to run right by Tubberville. I yelled "fig!" in his face and kept on running around like a lunatic

I remember them selling SEC Champ Game tickets outside the gates as we left. I enjoyed that

this should seriously be the slogan for the crowd this year. i think it would work.

the crowds in 2011 and 2012 were amazing, to be fair.

Definitely one of my favorite games ever. I still watch this on YouTube every once in a while just to watch tubbys meltdowns lol. And the kicker getting punked by TGBFTL. Too bad the quality of the video is shite. Wish rnolan would make a grand return.

Like when we lost at home to Ole Miss that year and UAB the year prior. And lost 31-0 at home to Bama the next year.

Uh... Excuse me?

My only point is that this notion that Tiger Stadium used to be a place where we never ever lost and now it isn't is absurd at best.

I never said we never lost there. The atmosphere was 100X better back in the day though. That's a fact.

I agree with that. But does it really matter???? Most fans leave mid third no matter the score.

You said it was a place where opponents dreams DID go to die. That implies to me that you think the homefield advantage is less now than it used to be. Which is plainly false. I'll agree that the atmosphere for lesser games used to be much better, but Tiger Stadium is still a goddamn mad house for big games.

I don't think you even know what point you're trying to make, big guy.
