Oh they will come out passing. Few bombs down field and we will score. Then shut it down.

Not going to work on the short to intermediate passing game at all. Welcome to cam/les offense.

From watching last game, we need work in every aspect of the offense. Especially from a blocking standpoint

I'd like to see our offensive linemen playing in their natural spots

Les Miles doesn't appreciate that these games are an extra 60 minutes of practice.

I've lost faith in CLM to actually do anything to make this team better during the game. Harris needs to throw the ball 35 times and the offensive line needs atleast 3 full quarters to play together before they work bodies in. Harris shouldn't come out. Unfortunately we all know that we will either jump out to a quick lead and pump the brakes the rest of the day or even worse we play inept and it's a good game for 4 quarters.

That hasn't went too well with Harris.

Fans have been calling for Les to "practice" the passing game vs cupcakes to get our guys comfortable and in a rhythm for years.

They never do it. All Les wants to do is run the ball and get his Ws.

Not sure if you remember or not, but they have tried this before. It doesn't work. They still can't field an efficient passing game. Then they go back to the old reliable run game and forget about all that silly forward pass nonsense

Agree 100%! Veteren team with 65% of practice reps running the ball past few years I think they got it. Miles and cam should say we're going passing downs on every rep till we get better. Like a baseball coach told me If your not hitting u go to the cage right ?

Guys had no clue who to block even when we ran the ball against Wisconsin. Will do nothing but hurt this team going forward if we only practice pass blocking.

Doesn't matter what either of us wants though. It's a non-conference home game. It'll be 80:20 run to pass ration as it always has been the past decade with these kinds of games.

Needs to be short "quick win" passes, too. That will get them in the rhythm and boost confidence for not only Harris, but the WRs as well.

Which is why they just need to have a balanced approach

There is no point in throwing it 50 times against JSU since we're not going to do that against other teams anyway.
