9 penalties for 122 yards

2 players ejected & 2 injured

2 touchdowns called back.

We definitely suck. But these things made it impossible. Had these not happened, we still probably lose.

if one play at the beginning of the game demoralized the team into submission then they are even softer than when lesticles was here

1 bigger thing. We got our butt whipped in the trenches. That is really the only thing that matters. You can overcome a lot of things in a game if you win the LOS.

The first TD called back was honestly a poor call.

The second ejection was a poor call as well.

Those things consider, we shite the bed. It was embarrassing.

We don't lose if we score those TDs and don't have the ejection penalties

Does anyone think this situation with the offensive line will get better against future SEC opponents?

I personally hope so, but I am not encouraged based on what happened in Starkville Saturday.

Definitely. Those 3 things showed a complete lack of control from the coaching staff

seems like the game was decided by the time the players got ejected. These ejections for one targeting foul is really stupid. Football on all levels is unbearable.

LSU wasn't going to win that game regardless of those points. That first touchdown called back would have helped a lot, but they still destroyed us in the trenches.

I was afraid of our youth on D going into SEC play. We have some young ballers, they just arent there yet. You can get away with a couple young guns on D if theu good enough. But its a hard ask for a secondary with that many froshies to hold up against a vet sec team.

And no im not saying this as an excuse for anyone, just the hand we were dealt for this season.

We scored again a few plays after one of those called-back touchdowns.

No discipline- that's on coaching

We scored a few plays later on one of those.

No. Worse, much worse.

No improvement until 2018 with a new OL Coach and maybe 2-3 TF's starting..............

I don't know if we would have won but with momentum, confidence and fresh lines it would have been a lot closer. Instead we end up with a defensive line playing the whole game and when the offensive line was in it makes it a little harder to pass protect starting every drive on 1st and 20, plus every fricking passing play being P.A doesn't help

Those penalties definitely affected the "flow" of the game. And we continually cut our own throats with the penalties, especially committing them at the worst times. If I remember right we gave them 3 first downs on failed 3rd downs. 1 in first half, 2 in second. On failed... 3rd downs. We were off the field, and fricked it up. And then we turned 2 of our own 3rd down and short successes into 3rd and long do overs. And then we had 2 outright drops on 3rd downs. That's 7 drives reversed. Seven. A potential 98 point swing. Now we all know it wasn't a 98 point swing. In actuality on the 3 we gave them it was "only" 13 pts scored off them. So lets call it a 26 point swing.

But we were headed for a loss with the play in the trenches. Penalties only helped make it look bad.

Sorry, downvoted you by mistake. You can't bring sensibility to this board. Anyone with any sense knew this was going to be a down year with a lot of learning to do.
