I went with some LSU alumni and we had a party before the game at the Gaineville Hilton. Spoke with several of their fans including their famous "Mr. 2 Bits". He spoke with our group for 20 minutes. They have some very very wealthy boosters, probably the richest in the SEC. Drank a beer at a UF tailgate outside the stadium. Had no problems at all. There was one douche on the ramp after the game but that's to be expected. In general, I will go back.

I ws not at that 2003 game you are referring to so I can't be 100%. But I have been a season ticket holder for six years and never heard it during that time span. I have been going to games since the 80s at Williams Brice, but I did have a timespan in the early 00s where I moved to New York and did not go to many games. If they have ever done this it's news to me... but you may be right about that time period.

This was my 3rd trip to the swamp. 2008 was terrrrible! A stadium full of assholes and that included the women and children. Glad to make it out of there alive.

2010 was better even though we won.

This year was the best so far. Most were said they were nervous so there wasn't much taunting at all. I did sit next to a LSU fan that got cuffed for improperly throwing is drink away at the gate. Guess some ended up on the cop but they let him go just before kickoff. Of course "it's great to be a Florida gaytor" got old on the way out.

All in all my best trip to Gainsville.
